we have applied every year and I often hear back from people who do win this loterry, somehow it didi not work out for us...at least, not yet!

Thanks desi3933 for correcting me and posting the link. But, I know a couple of instances where they got the RFE/NOID for the same reason. But, I am sure they will eventually get approved if they go for MTR as this was addressed in Yates Memo.
I have a question, is 'memo' same as law? Can the IO come back and say its not in the law? Just out of my curiosity ...

No. these memorandums do not have the force of law and apply only to USCIS officers, not to immigration judges.

I filed my eEAD 45 days back, competed finger printing 15 days back, still I don't see LUD on my case; However, my spouse who filed 30 days back had 3 LUD, and a recent after finger print.
Can guys suggest, is this common. Usually after FP I should see a LUD, right? What are my options..

My friend's wife got a job. company didn't ask for ead card so far. she filed the employment applicaiton where they asked her if she is a citizen or green card, she filled everything correct, they made an offer and did the background check, she is supposed to start in 2 weeks.
Question, does she need to disclose about EAD now or wait until start give the information while filling I-9 Form. Does employeer right to not hire people on EAD?
Please clarify.

lets say we dont apply for ead and ap now...will that affect filing ead and ap in the future if the priority dates retrogress?
No..you can file later based on pending 485 but why you want to wait to save some bucks.

My I-485(with G-28) was filed by our company lawyer and company did not let us file EAD. I'm filing EAD on my own after USCIS made it clear with FAQ2 that they will accept EAD applications without the I-485 Receipt notice.
My questions is, Can I be sure the receipt notice for the EAD will come to me and not to the lawyer by any chance? I don't have any intention of using EAD but don't want my employer/lawyer know that I have filed it.

That probably was unnecessary and may triggered the additional check due to export control of high end researches.
I can imagine.. I work on Assisted GPS platform on US Wireless Carrier Phones. So When he heard GPS, he (VO) must have raised the flag. Having said that, I am a direct employee, not through any consulting company or so. it is just a matter of time. Just wait and watch.
I will update any reply I would get.

I guess you guys are not qualified for AC21 after approval! Here is the detailed article on this specific topic from Murthy.com. You should have done the AC21 before your case got approved.

THIS PROCESS IS CALLED DEFERRED INSPECTION - no need to go out of the country
In the below link find the site/airport closest to your current address.
http://www.cbp.gov/xp/cgov/toolbox/c...ed_inspection/
Call up the phone number in the link and fix an appointment.
Go with Old Passport, new passport and all visa documents and I -94
Explain the situation to the officer and he/she should be able to rectify at the time of appointment.
Officer will put the new date on the existing I -94 and update the system and on the card itself. No new I - 94 will be issued.

My employer refuses to give my copy of approve LC.
I had MS + 1.5 yrs of exp.
So not sure if they had exp in the job description as I dont see any job that requires MS + 1 yr of exp.

Employer was able to speak to USICIS officer. He asked
whethere
1) I was contractor
2) from when I was employed
3) Work timings
4) exact office Location
my supervisor asked why all these questions about location and timing they said they will do a site visit
I feel if my app can trigger this than any other app could...
The USICs is just getting crazy with all the bueracacy crap

1. My interview time is 8:15AM and my wife has at 8:45AM. Does it mean we should appear separately or can we go together?
2. Is I-140 approval copy required? Interview letter does not say anything about it.
3. My attorney is not coming since he is too far from my place. Can I take any local attorney? Does it require applying G-28 again?
For 1. It happened to me before and I have requested the officer to consider my wife's interview too with me. In my case, wife's interview date was next day and the IO agreed.
Good luck with the rest.
